1. Be insanely authentic
The best way to establish credibility with an audience is by being genuine with them. The last thing that anyone wants is to deal with a business that they feel is trying to con them. By taking the time to show your audience that you are a genuine person who is only trying to offer your services to them, you will be able to have much more success.
You could speak with a CRM professional on how best to build a better relationship with your customers. There are also lots of free resources out there that can help you establish the right relationship with your customers.
2. Listen to your customers
The next thing you need to do when trying to create a credible relationship with your audience is to listen to what they need and act on them. Often times, a new business owner will get so wrapped up in making a name for themselves that they forget to take the time to listen to their audience.
The more you are able to listen to what the audience wants, the faster you will be able to achieve customer satisfaction. Most customers will have no problem being brutally honest with a business owner, which is great and will allow for the right changes to be made. Seek feedback and show customers that you care.
3. Don’t make excuses
If your customers have problems, fix them. Customers are always right even when they are wrong. Don’t argue with a customer, you will lose in the end. Don’t put your customers on hold. Nobody likes that. Strive to deal with every problem as soon as possible. Make your customers happy. Be genuinely interested in their satisfaction.

You don’t have to be the best in your industry. But if you are consistent and make your clients remember the experience for all the right reasons, they will stay with you for life. Most of them could even be your brand ambassadors.
5. Under promise and over deliver
Don’t over promise and under deliver instead under promise and over deliver. If you can’t deliver on what your customers expect, be honest and let them know. You product don’t have to do everything for you customers. Focus on the one thing you are good at and be the best at it. Don’t promise anything you can’t deliver.
6. Ask for endorsements and testimonials
If your business has been around for a while, then you should hopefully have plenty of happy customers. Asking people to provide a testimonial for your business website is a great way of showing prospective customers about the service you provide. The more testimonials you have from your customers, the better it speaks to your business credibility.
